Village‑Stone, a Native American Music Awards nominee, blends traditional influences with contemporary soundscapes to create work that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly modern. His compositions explore themes of heritage, identity, and shared humanity. Of Cherokee and Japanese ancestry, he draws inspiration from both cultural lineages, weaving flute, percussion, and atmospheric textures into a sound world that honors tradition while embracing innovation.

A longtime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Village‑Stone has spent decades as a composer, performer, and producer in the music and post‑production industries, with work spanning film, television, and live performance. He also teaches in local schools, emphasizing multicultural harmony and appreciation.

Joining him on stage is Andy Graham, a Bay Area–based inventor and musician known for creating original instruments that fuse percussion, didgeridoo, and string elements. Originally a drummer, Graham invented a didgeridoo rack system in 1995 to free his hands for drumming, launching a distinctive solo career. He has since developed patented instruments including the Graham Pedal Hi‑Hat System and electric stringed didgeridoo hybrids. His handmade creations have been featured at Maker Faire Bay Area and TEDx events, contributing to the “handmade music” movement and showcasing a dynamic blend of rock, funk, and aboriginal influences. His work can be explored through Slaperoo Percussion and at andygraham.net.

Also performing is Ragedoll, who will create and present the live multimedia visuals for Ancient Skins on stage. Ragedoll holds a university degree in art and was recently featured in Art in the Redwoods at the Gualala Arts Center. She works in both physical and digital media and is an award‑winning creator of artwork and commercial advertising. She is currently developing visuals, music, and music videos for the upcoming Black Ramen graphic novel project (BlackRamen.com). Her favorite artistic pursuits include creating art and advertising for charities and organizations that benefit humanity.

Rounding out the evening is local Mendonoman musician, the saxophonist Harrison Goldberg, has literally spent a lifetime in music. His experiences, reflections and observations inform and influence the content of spoken word he now performs with the accompaniment of fellow jazz musicians..

Together, Village‑Stone, Graham, Ragedoll, and Goldberg offer an evening of inventive sound, immersive visuals, cultural resonance, and artistic storytelling—an experience not to be missed.
