Local Concert Series: TrioAmericana performs in the Spirit of Coltrane

This special performance draws inspiration from the spirit of A Love Supreme, not as a note-for-note tribute, but as a living, breathing exploration of the ideals behind the music—devotion, truth, and transcendence through sound. Led by a trio of deeply connected musicians, the evening will unfold as a journey shaped in the moment, blending jazz, spiritual expression, and global influences. With a focus on strong intent and emotional honesty, the music invites listeners into a space of reflection, presence, and connection.

Featuring Matt Rothstein on soprano saxophone and voice, Lincoln Andrews on bass, and Gabriel Yanez on drums, the group brings together a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to expressive, improvisational music. Their sound moves fluidly between meditative textures and driving rhythms, creating a dynamic narrative that speaks to both the intellect and the soul. More than a concert, this is an offering—an opportunity to gather, listen deeply, and reconnect through the universal language of music.
