Abbey Foundation for the Arts

Abbey Foundation for the Arts was founded in 1995 by Dona Abbey with the mission to promote human creativity in various art mediums.  We began operation in Palo Alto, CA, and have transitioned over time to our newly constructed location in Boonville, CA.

The Foundation will begin offering grants for day use studio space in 2025, with support provided to recipient artists for their proposed projects in the form of equipment and supplies.  Currently, the deadline for application is 12/1/24, for the workshop grant from 1/1/25 through 6/30/25.

The studio is currently equipped with a large format printmaking press and printmaking supplies, but could also be used for painting, sculpture, woodworking, literature, and music.  There are approximately 850 sq ft of indoor space, and an adjacent covered screened in porch area of the same size.
