Ceramics artist and Edgewater Gallery founding member Alexis Moyer presents a vibrant new collection of one-of-a-kind ceramic lamps this September.
Throughout her career, Moyer has created functional pottery, animal sculptures, mixed-media works, tables, and large ceramic totems. Her distinctive totems—playful arrangements of individually formed elements—explore color, shape, scale, and visual rhythm.
For this exhibition, Moyer transforms the totem into functional sculpture. What began as a pair of lamps intended as a special gift quickly grew into a joyful new body of work.
“There are so many interesting ways to use the totem format,” Moyer says. “Once I got going, so many possibilities opened up that I just had to keep going.”
Each lamp is both a useful object and a unique work of art.
Opening Reception:
First Friday, September 4, 2026 from 5-8PM, light refreshments will be served.
356 N Main St, Fort Bragg, CA 95437
